Experience has taught us that our principles of design and test are working. We do not have failures in the product range due to poor design, or faulty manufacture. Over the 14 years of Musicom sales, we still have every installation still working faultlessly, to the performance criteria it was installed with.

Musicom hardware is generically evolved to ensure ‘backwards compatibility’ in the event of an expansion or augmentation being required to the original instrument.

Product Considerations.

Musicom supplies the most robust, reliable and powerful product available within relevant manufactured technology. This requires a clear policy on design procedure. Longevity is a primary consideration and as such carries a responsibility to the market.

Technology advances in the last 15 years have accelerated exponentially both in the product offered, and the techniques of manufacture. Supplying to a traditional market, where mechanical structures are the ‘legacy’ product, dictates that our product must present a similar profile to the end user.

We use the latest production technology, and our own design components, allowing us to re-engineer easily if necessary avoiding component redundancy.

This is the only effective way to offer a long life product in the modern manufacturing environment where advances are continually made. Our modular, plug-in design ensures overall product presentation integrity continues.

In our case, the end user – the musician, is not the only person that we are selling to, and so the advantages of our product are also appropriate to the installer or instrument manufacturer.

Our designs include features and enhancements that enable low labour costs, and built in diagnostics, to give early identification of installation wiring error.

We have our own advanced equipment test facility which enables us to fully characterise our product for EMC and general immunity to external electro-magnetic field.

Apart from being a legal requirement in many countries, the attention to design implicit in full compliance, gives a more robust and reliable product.
